Final conference of the NATHCARE Project

The final conference of the NATHCARE Project was held in Milano (Pirelli skyscraper) in the afternoon of May 21st 2015.

The aim of the workshop was to present the main results achieved by the Project and stimulate reflection on the ability of the NATHCARE model to respond to the needs linked to the health of the Alpine Area population.

The event aimed at increasing awareness of the NATHCARE experience, offering strategic points to the institutional decision-makers to orient their intervention policies.

 

 

 

The project

aims at design, consolidate and validate an “healthcare local community” based model embracing all the players of the care system for securing a sustainable and improved organizational adaptation of healthcare services.

NATHCARE is co-funded by the Alpine Space Programme 2007-2013. It has started in September 2012 with a duration of 34 months, until June 2015

 

The model

capitalising on ALIAS project, targets the process for an hospital-territory integration addressing mainly long term diseases in the perspective of continuity of care as dimension of the demographic change.

The NATHCARE model will be offered to the attention of policy makers, as an example on which get inspired to adopt orchestrated policy strategies to mitigate demographic change impact on healthcare systems.

European commision
The NATHCARE project is co-funded by the Alpine Space Programme 2007-2013. It has started in September 2012 with a duration of 34 months, until June 2015.
